          • What is an Forex VPS and what is it for?

            Forex VPS can only be used to launch your own trading terminals and add-ons to them, ensuring their uninterrupted operation. You upload your terminals to the Zomro Forex VPS, launch them, and then they continue to work automatically. You can connect / disconnect at any time to manage them and control their work. This type of server is pre-configured to work with MetaTrader and you as a client get only user access. Everything you need to quickly start trading is already configured on the server.

          • What is the difference in the tariffs of Forex VPS?

            Tariffs are a multiple increase of the first tariff. So in the first tariff you get 1 Gb of pure RAM (the memory that Windows spends is not included in the tariff and is not taken into account), 3 GB of Memory for installing your terminal, robot and storing records of your trades. Also, each terminal has a dedicated percentage of CPU load, this will prevent your terminal from accidentally rebooting the system. These parameters are multiplied in each next tariff by the number of terminals. Please note that all increases are tied to the terminals. So in the tariff for 2 terminals, the system will allocate RAM and processor load equally for each terminal (1 Gb each).

          • Where is the server physically located?

            The OMRO server base is located in the Netherlands, but for Forex VPS we have purchased equipment from other data centers, including Germany and America, which will allow you to place your trading terminals as close as possible, physically close to the largest trading platforms and broker servers.It is this approach that will minimize ping, which is critical for successful robot trading.You can check ping to most servers thanks to the Ping test on this page or if you do not find your trading server in the list - contact support and they will check the ping with a specific server.

          • What trading terminals can be installed on the Forex VPS?

            You can use MT4 and MT5 of any broker. If you use a terminal other than MetaTrader or you need to run some additional EXE files to work with MT, you need to contact technical support to check compatibility and the possibility of using the Forex VPS. Now in the database of allowed programs and terminals there are more than six hundred applications of brokers and additions of robots. Important! Use the latest versions of terminals and applications in your work! This will protect you from unexpected overloads and terminal restarts.

          • What is the difference between an Forex VPS and a regular VPS on Windows?

            The main difference is that the Forex VPS is a real high-performance dedicated server with high stability. But the capabilities of the Forex VPS are limited: you can only load and run certain programs (terminals and their add-ons) on it and you cannot change any system settings. At the same time, you do not need to take care of the administration and configuration of the server - everything is ready, just download the terminals, configure them and start working. It is also important to take into account that the parameters specified in your tariff take into account only the net load parameters of your terminal!

          • What should be considered when choosing a tariff plan?

            When choosing a tariff plan, you need to consider: 1. The number of terminals that will be launched (each running terminal.exe process or equivalent). The number of running terminals is controlled automatically, all unnecessary (running over the limit) processes will be completed. 2. Disk quota - the maximum amount of disk space that all your files can occupy. 3. The tariffs indicate the maximum amount of RAM that can be occupied by each terminal. The amount of memory occupied by the terminals is controlled automatically. 4.CPU load generated by all terminals is also controlled automatically.

          • How is the use of resources monitored?

            Once every 15 minutes, the system automatically checks the number of running terminals, and records the amount of memory occupied by each terminal (with an accuracy of 1MB) and the load it creates on the CPU (with an accuracy of 0.01%). If the number of launched terminals is more than provided by the tariff plan, the extra ones will be completed during the next check. There will be no warnings or notifications because you always know how many terminals you can run and how many terminals you have launched. Please note that any of the running terminals can be closed (not necessarily the one that is launched later).

          • What can not be done on the Forex VPS?
